Summary: A must read!
Comment: A wonderfully written and carefully researched insight to the icon of a generation. As most other reviewers have pointed out, Laura Collins uncovers this esoteric and fascinating world with a rare mixture of candor and empathy. However, it is sad to see the envy of the writer's competition try to sabotage this good spirited and thoroughly enjoyable read. "Kate Moss - The Complete Picture" - highly recommended and the perfect gift for the holidays!

Summary: Tim
Comment: It's such a shame that this man - Fred Vermorel - felt the need to write such vitriol. I read his book and it stank. Collins is certainly no dunce, and at least she can actually write - which is rare in a celebrity biography.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyable
Comment: Thoroughly enjoyable! Picked up off my wife's bedside table in an idle moment this is a fascinating insight into a celebrity we hear a great deal of but know surprisingly little about. Collins' skill is not only that she clearly knows her subject in extraordinary detail but has also taken the trouble to separate the fact from the fiction to present a really balanced portrait of a very controversial figure. Not easy to do I'm sure! And that it is all delivered in an extremely readable style makes it all the more compelling! Fascinating, intelligent and fun - loved it even though I didn't expect to!

Summary: Great bedtime and anytime read
Comment: Collins paints an eloquent portrait of a national treasure. There is something in there for everyone: The biography completest, aspiring would-be MEGA stars and the person who simply likes a damn good read.

It's Heat magazine with a heart.

A triumph!

Summary: Simply wonderful.
Comment: I had to go to four bookshops to find this book in stock because it had sold out everywhere. I'm not surprised. Laura Collins' insights into the sphynx-like Kate Moss are fascinating. One of the best biographies (of any celebrities) I've read. She cleverly interweaves the story of Moss's private life, with a historian's take on the impact and legacy of Kate Moss on the world of fashion. Superb.
