Summary: 'A Great Xmas Stocking Filler!'
Comment: I used to love getting annuals for Christmas when I was a kid and this years Doctor Who annual (2008) is sure to delight today's kids too. For a start, the annual has a really cool hologram on the front that depicts the Doctor pointing his sonic screwdriver with intent in front of a background which with movement changes between a swirling time tunnel and his trusty Tardis. As always the 60 or so pages inside the annual contain a healthy mix of cartoon strips, games, stories, features and or histories of some of the Doctor's enemies and there's even a Christmas trivia quiz. The annual is sturdy, hard backed and full of colour. For young fans of the show it's a sure fire winner and guaranteed to bring a smile to many a kids face this Christmas.

Summary: as long as you're under 10 you'll love it
Comment: i got this 4 christmas (disapointing after i had asked for the series 2 box set) but when i looked through the anual, it's mostly just for kids, there is cartoons, jokes, puzzles and info on characters. oooh and a funky hologram on the front. it's a good kids annual, but for older fans i would definately not reccomend it!

Comment: The book is a good quality build, it has crisp pages that are well attatched to its hard backed spine.There was a lot of information,about the Dr's freinds and enemies,and some good 'cartoon led' stories,also some reasonable jokes aswell!...i.e. Whats the best way to see a Cyberman?? = ... On the Television! , Well I did say they're reasonable!:) There is also an interesting 4 pages of factual information about our solar system.
I would recommend this book,as its a well built,well filled,interesting read!, the only negative,is that I think its a bit on the 'thin side'!
