Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: What CD's? Comment: I ordered these CD's on the 30th of May. I have had an e-mail today 21st June to say they cannot get hold of them so have cancelled my order, yet they are still advertising that they have 2 copies for sale! What dreadful customer service! Customer Rating: Summary: Great for revision Comment: These CD's are a fairly dry way to learn the language. Sure all the vocab and grammar is in there but it presents it just as reading out the English then reading the equivalent French. You need much more than that if you are going to learn the language properly. If you are new to learning French DO NOT buy these. Instead I would recommend the excellent Michel Thomas series as a starting point. Where this course fits in is with revision as it's great for reminding you of what you've previously learned and filling in the odd blank. But if you tried to use it from scratch you'd give up pretty quickly. Customer Rating: Summary: No need to rip the discs for MP3 Player Comment: I was surprised to find included in the package a disc containing MP3s and PDFs of the small booklets that come with each level.
