Ideal for outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. The variable heat control allows a maximum heat setting of 1.15kw from the highly efficient ceramic heating element. The Piezo ignition makes lighting the heater a simply and safe procedure and each gas cartridge will provide up to two and a half hours of heat at full power. The quality durable construction includes a carry handle and adjustable heating angle but is intended for outdoor use only. Gas cartridge not included but is available elsewhere on the site please search for gas cartridge (product code 3115).

Summary: A CAMPING MUST HAVE
Comment: I bought this super little heater to take camping...what a must have item. We didnt have any problems with shooting flames, although I believe what the last person did was perhaps pull the ring on the side to open the valve. This would shoot flames out. But I would advise anybody camping to buy this for those cold mornings. Excellent Same item in Argos priced £29.99.

Summary: Life saver !
Comment: I was sensible enough to go on a 'mans' camping trip a few weeks ago. The temperature was about minus 6 that night, so cold I was amazed none of us called an ambulance during the night. We are far from seasoned campers, I was in a ONE season sleeping bag at minus 6 celsius, with no airbed.
This little heater kept the tent warm for hours, it was a total life saver for us. Would definitely recommend for those cold nights. I have no idea about the "flamethrowing" of the other review, ours did nothing of the sort. An excellent buy :)

Summary: deathtrap
Comment: I bought a heater exactly like this(not from amazon) and on our first camping trip it started shooting flames in to the tent. Not like a flame thrower, but like small gas explosions. We used it in a well ventalated tent, but it did the same outside as well. They are a complete deathtrap, could have set the tent on fire. Avoid.
