Comment: Really disappointed with this, even if it is cheap. If you want wonderful contemporary folk, check out the solo album by Meg Baird (from the Espers)

Summary: Great fun and great value
Comment: What more can one say? Thirteen tracks, most of them excellent, for less than a pint of beer. This has rapidly become one of my favourite CDs. And yes, most of it is kinda folksy.

Comment: Proper (the record label) make some great CDs, this is a really good sampler and cheap as Turnips. Way better than the Navigator one.

Comment: I don't really know what proper folk is but this cd is a lot of fun-sent me looking for other stuff the various artists have done. certainly the best thing i've done with £2 for a very long time. Buy it!
