Summary: Faster than ever
Comment: This new Norton is less demanding on PC resources than ever. Have just uninstalled 2008 and installed this and the difference is immediate. Faster loads, no adverse affects when scanning and simpler than ever user interface. I would suggest that anyone failing to see performance gains over running other internet security from this install has failed to uninstall previous internet security software suites correctly, or has stray registry entries causing issues.

Summary: Norton "make your internet connection work really slow" internet security
Comment: Well.. I had been warned by a friend that this internet security package would make my internet connection even slower than other internet security packages. I have previously used Norton and although it has made the internet a little slower it was never as slow as it is now. It takes approximately 10 minutes (15minutes today) to just get onto the internet, through google. This is really annoying and I very much regret buying Norton this time around. I have adjusted the settings, but it has made little difference. I use wireless broadband, but when I'm logging into the internet, it reminds me of dial-up, admittedly once I'm logged in and on the internet it is alright, but I certainly would not recommend this product to anyone.
