Start with surface preparation

Preparation tools can include scrapers, filling knives, sanding blocks and suitable power sanders. The surface and coating determine the appropriate preparation method. Choose application tools for the finish

Brushes and rollers are not interchangeable for every coating or surface. Consider the coating manufacturer's instructions, surface texture and desired finish. Control dust and site hazards
