ShopperWorld

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of ShopperWorld, including member accounts and business listings.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Important: These are platform terms prepared for the current development stage. Commercial/payment terms and operator details should be finalised and legally reviewed before public launch.

1. Using ShopperWorld

By creating an account or using ShopperWorld you agree to these Terms and any policies referred to in them. You must use the platform lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

2. Member accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and sign-in methods. You must not allow unauthorised access or impersonate another person. ShopperWorld may require email verification, completed registration and additional security checks before particular features are available.

3. Social and connected sign-in methods

External providers such as Facebook may be used as sign-in methods. Your ShopperWorld account remains separate from the external provider. Provider availability may change. Members should maintain a usable recovery/sign-in method and must follow the external provider's own terms.

4. Business listings

Members who create, claim or manage a listing must be authorised to do so. Listing information should be accurate, lawful and not misleading. ShopperWorld may moderate, suspend, correct or remove content where reasonably necessary to protect the platform or its users.

5. Content and intellectual property

You retain responsibility for content you submit and must have the rights needed to use it. By submitting content for publication, you grant ShopperWorld the permissions reasonably necessary to host, reproduce, format and display it as part of the service.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use ShopperWorld for fraud, harassment, unlawful content, malicious software, scraping that disrupts the service, attempts to bypass security, or activity that infringes another person's rights.

7. Membership and paid services

Free and paid membership features may have different limits and permissions. Before paid upgrades are launched, pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund and billing terms will be presented clearly at the point of purchase.

8. Availability and third parties

We aim to keep ShopperWorld available and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Listings and third-party links may contain information supplied by independent businesses or users; their products, services and conduct remain their responsibility.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, breach of these Terms, legal compliance or protection of other users. Members may request account closure subject to lawful retention requirements.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any further limitations applicable to paid or commercial services should be finalised before those services launch.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Where changes materially affect members, we should provide appropriate notice and may require acceptance of a new version.
